The Council of Governors is responsible for reflecting the interests of the members of the Foundation Trust and partner organisations in the local health economy ensuring that the local community is directly involved in the governance of the Trust. The Council of Governors is not involved in matters of day to day management such as budget setting, staffing issues or other operational matters.
